Can I use a GIT-1 sensor to replace the sensor on my GIT-4 controller?

In a word: No!

The GIT-1 is meant for use with the newer APS-C series controllers, EUR-5A controller and the upcoming PRO series controllers. The GIT-4 sensor is unique to the GIT-4.
