By default, a NETCOM is set as a slave so that it will accept commands from any other NETCOM dehydrators that has been configured as a master.
To configure a NETCOM as a master establish communications with the dehydrator through the Ethernet interface (default IP address from the factory is 192.168.52.2) and navigate to the configuration page and scroll down to the “Set as Master Dehydrator via” box.
